We have an in-house mental health worker who works every other Friday afternoon. We appreciate that some patients require more urgent additional support for their mental health, and the wait for community services can be long. Helen has experience of working in secondary care mental health services, and is able to provide patients with a thorough assessment of their current mental health needs with further follow-up as necessary, referrals or signposting into other services as appropriate. The GP will refer you to her should they feel that they Service would be beneficial to you.
